Andrea Kelland

I trained in Fine Art at Kingston on Thames in the early 60s. Having raised a family and run a clothing business I moved to West Wales from Devon in the late 80's to resume my painting. It wasn't long afterwards that I became a member of the Watercolour Society of Wales and have shown work in their many exhibitions over the years since.

Most of my work is about water, rivers and seas. Often about a transitory moment in time, , or rough seas breaking over rocks, or maybe Autumn leaves blowing in the wind. One major exhibition I held was supported by the Arts Council of Wales called ' The Power of Water and swell of the Wave', which did a tour to MOMA Wales, the Taliesin Swansea and Oriel Q Narberth. I have held many solo and shared exhibitions of my work in general... both oils and watercolours, mostly in Wales but a few in England.
