I was born in Mumbles, Swansea and now reside in Llantwit Major. From 1955-1958, I studied painting at the Bath Academy of Art in Corsham. In 1958, I was awarded BAA Travelling Scholarship.

I have been a member of The Welsh Group since 1977 and a Hon. Member of the Royal Watercolour Society of Wales since  1973 (Chair 1991 – 2000).

I am also a member of the Womens Arts Association of Wales.

I have collections at the Women’s Art Collection, New Hall, Cambridge, Wolfson College, Oxford, Glynn Vivian Gallery, Swansea and Cork University, Ireland.
