Daphne was born in Berkshire and now resides in Abergavenny, she studied Fine Art at Newport Art College.

Daphne  likes to feel the places shaped by the history and use of it in her paintings. She has extraordinary style creating a unique atmosphere in her work.

She uses an unusual painting technique her subjects are of places in time remote and isolated. Her subjects include old derelict farms houses lighthouses beach huts boats and observatories 

Daphne exhibits her watercolour paintings widely around Wales. She is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society of Wales and exhibits regularly
