Royal Watercolour Society of Wales

24 May - 19 October

Gallery Two

We are thrilled to host an exhibition showcasing the recent work of current RWSW members.

The Royal Watercolour Society of Wales exists to exhibit, encourage and promote the art of watercolour painting in its many different guises. It aims to provide a forum for the continuing appreciation and development of water-based media. The Society’s first exhibition was held in 1959 at the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff.

Today the Society has around 40 members who are all professional artists living and working in Wales. The stringent election process ensures a high quality of work, as well as attracting new talent.

The Society’s Patron is HM King Charles III.
